We are pleased to announce that this week Governor Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) announced that AHPD has been awarded a $600,000 OSLAD Grant for a major revitalization project at Centennial Park. The initiative will enhance the park with the following upgrades:
- Updated fishing pier and overlook
- A new playground
- New outdoor fitness equipment
- A new shelter
- New game tables
- Improved ballfields
- Enhanced pathways and seating areas
