The Arlington Heights Park District publishes Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and bid specifications for a variety of projects, programs and products. Bids, RFPs and RFQs are published in local newspapers in compliance with local, state and federal laws. A summary of current project descriptions is listed below. Details are available by contacting the department specified in the announcement. You may also contact the department by phone, mail or email to request to be included on a list of vendors surveyed for specific projects. The Park District also posts bids on DemandStar, a nationwide online marketplace that connects suppliers and contractors with government procurement projects. You can also register with DemandStar by listing the Arlington Heights Park District as your Free Agency and receive timely notifications of project opportunities.

CLOSEDRecreation Park Renovation – Phase IProposals are due by 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at the Administration Center for a public bid opening. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Recreation Park, 500 E. Miner St., Arlington Hts., IL 60004. This project is being financed, in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, “Open Space Land Acquisition & Development” (OSLAD) grant program. Minority business firms and contractors complying with the Illinois Apprenticeship Initiative (IAI) are encouraged to submit bids on this project. Successful contract bidder is encouraged to utilize minority businesses and those complying with IAI as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services, and construction. Phase 1 includes: General Trades, Electrical, Excavation, Asphalt Paving, Site Concrete, Landscaping, and Site Utilities. |
