Adult Drill and Play Programs
The adult instruction program offers classes for skill levels from beginner to advanced. Private Drills
Do you have four or more friends that want to take lessons during the day but can’t find the right time or ability level? Our clubs give you the opportunity to book your time permanently with a pro for a ten-week session. You do not have to be a member to enjoy this privilege. Member and non-member group rates apply. For more information call or text Tennis Director Russ Hadziabdic at 847.414.4103.

Lesson Program Progression

Quickstart I – Red Ball 4.5-5 years
Quickstart II – Red &/or Orange Ball 6-7 years
All Star Academy Pro Placement – Orange Ball 7-10 years
Green Dot Pro Placement – Green Dot 7-10 years
Academy Pro Placement – Starting at age 11
QuickStart Tennis Program
Our clubs are proud to offer the QuickStart Tennis method of teaching for young junior players as the first of three phases of our lesson program. We believe that this is the best way to get students playing tennis at young ages with solid technique. Racquets, balls, and courts will be sized appropriately for age, size, and ability level with the goal being to get kids playing tennis earlier in the learning process. These lessons will look more interactive with emphasis being placed on movement and body awareness, culminating in early rallies between student and instructor and thereafter from student to student. We are looking forward to grooming the next generation of northwest suburban tennis players with this initiative.
All Star Academy
Promotion from QuickStart or pro approval from evaluation is required. Players continue to develop fundamentals using transition balls. Emphasis is on shot consistency and control. All Star Academy lessons are for players between the ages of 7 and 10.
Green Dot Academy
Promotion from All Star Academy or pro approval from evaluation is required. Introduction to more live ball drills, point of play and more advanced rally skills. Playing strategy will be implemented on a full-size court. Green Dot lessons are for players between the ages of 8 and 11.
Junior Tennis Beginner
Introduces and practices the tennis basics including volleys, forehand and backhand ground strokes, serves, match play, sportsmanship and footwork for ages 11-15. Students need to bring a tennis racquet to class. This is a great class for those picking up tennis a bit later in life.
Junior Tennis Academy
Promotion from Green Ball Academy or pro approval from evaluation required. This class is suitable for qualified beginners. Students will be leveled within the class. Focus of instruction is on skill set improvement and application to competitive play for ages 10 and up.
High School Drill & Match Play
We offer classes for high school junior varsity and varsity and level players. Membership is required.
High Performance
Our clubs are proud to offer the Academy Program for competitive junior players. Learning perfect strokes is a worthy goal, but only if they can help you win the point. Tennis cannot be learned in a classroom, so students in the Academy Program should expect to hit more than listen. Competitive experiences are not the test of your achievement. They are simply part of the process of learning to compete. The focus of training in the Academy Program will be on teaching players how to apply their individual skills to various levels of competition. For more information or to schedule an evaluation contact Russ Hadziabdic at 847.414.4103.
